EDMONTON - A company called Juici Patties is recalling its Jamaican-style unbaked chicken patties from the marketplace due to possible E. coli contamination.

The product has been sold in Alberta.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says anyone who has the recalled product should either throw them out or return them to the store where they were purchased.

The CFIA says it is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.

It says there have been no illnesses associated with consumption of the product.
