Scarlett Johansson has invited her 'grandma' lookalike to the movie premiere of her latest film.
A Reddit user who goes by the name denverjoel recently posted on Reddit a photo of his grandmother, Geraldine, noting her striking resemblance to the actress.
The Redditor said the photo, in which his grandmother poses with his grandfather, was taken in Tulsa, OK. in 1967. He phoned his grandmother to ask about the photo, and she apparently told him she was “drunk as a skunk” when it was taken.
The photo went viral and evidently Johansson herself has seen it.
In a one-minute video posted to YouTube, Johansson said she has been “absolutely inundated” with emails and messages about the physical similarities between the actress and now senior woman.
“Holy c—p! I want to meet you in person,” Johansson said, adding she wants to “share a drunk face with you.
“Let’s have a drink, Geraldine.”
The actress invited the grandmother to the movie premiere of “Rough Night,” in which Scarlett plays a bride-to-be whose bachelorette party goes awry.
“Be my guest, we’re a bunch of party girls, so it’s a running theme.”
