CTV’s Chief Anchor and Senior Editor Lisa LaFlamme was honoured at a gala event on Thursday as one of Canada’s top 100 most powerful women, as chosen by the Women’s Executive Network.

Bell Media Senior Vice President of Independent Production Corrie Coe was also named to the WXN list, which honours strong female leaders in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Coe played an integral role in launching such shows as ‘The Amazing Race Canada,’ ‘Orphan Black’ and ‘Corner Gas’ on CTV.

LaFlamme and Coe were among the 100 women celebrated at a gala event in Toronto on Thursday night.

“I have had the pleasure of working closely alongside Corrie and Lisa and can attest that they are truly deserving of this honour,” Bell Media President Kevin Crull said in a statement. “Both of these women are highly respected leaders in their respective fields and serve as an inspiration to all of our team members.”

LaFlamme won top honours at the Canadian Screen Awards earlier this year, when she and CTV National News took home the Best National News Anchor and Best National Newscast awards, respectively.

Last year, CTV’s Marilyn Denis, Michelle Dube and Sandie Rinaldo were all among WXN’s top 100 most powerful women of 2013.
