The Calgary home where five students were stabbed to death is being offered for sale, with no mention of its tragic history.

Described by the realtor as a house with "AMAZING basics," the four-bedroom, 1,033 square-foot home near the University of Calgary has an asking price of $489,900.

"It has a few updates, but needs some work to turn it into the gem it can be," the listing says. "It awaits your personal touch to turn it into something GREAT!"

The real estate listing makes no mention that five young people were killed at an end-of-school frat party there in April.

The police investigation at the house has been completed, but at the time, officers said they were shocked by the gruesome crime scene.

"The crime scene is one you will never forget if you were there," Calgary Police Chief Rick Hanson said at a news conference last April. Hanson called it the worst mass murder in Calgary's history.

"The scene was horrific," he said. "It's extremely difficult, regardless of who the perpetrator is, to go into a scene like that with young people who've been killed, who've been murdered."

Matthew de Grood, 22, currently faces first-degree murder charges in the stabbing deaths of Zackariah Rathwell, 21, Lawrence Hong, 27, Joshua Hunter, 23, Jordan Segura, 22, and Kaiti Perras, 23.

A psychiatric review has determined de Grood is fit to stand trial. He is now undergoing psychiatric evaluation to determine whether he can be found not criminally responsible for his actions.
