Spanish officials say at least one suspect thought to have been involved with a deadly terrorist attack in Barcelona has not been apprehended, but haven’t confirmed if the person driving the van that hit pedestrians has been arrested. The government has declared three days of mourning.

And CTV News contributor Richard Crouse gives you the lowdown on the films you should check out this weekend.

1. Spain: At least 13 people have died and a hundred injured after a van veered on to a popular promenade in Barcelona. Police killed five suspects in the wake of the attack.

2. Street proofing: As deadly terrorist attacks with vehicles occur more frequently, cities across the globe are investing in ways to protect people in public locations.

3. Birth control: More Canadian women are relying on less reliable birth control methods, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada says. The society found that 61 per cent of women who had ever been pregnant had at least one unintended pregnancy.

4. Asylum seeker numbers: Almost 7,000 people have been intercepted at the Quebec-U.S. border in the last six weeks, a number authorities called "unprecedented."

5. Glasses demand: Wannabe Canadian eclipse watchers are scrambling to find the specialized glasses that will allow them to safely view the phenomenon, due to stocks dwindling in stores across the country.

And one more thing...

"The Hitman’s Bodyguard" mixes and matches all the usual action movie flourishes -- exotic locations, violence, jokes and romance -- but succeeds because of the match between its leads, says film critic Richard Crouse.
