It is that time of year when Canadians are getting out into their own yards and assessing the changes since winter.

This is the perfect time of year to look at evergreens that either need trimming or replacing. To inspect the wooden deck and decide whether it needs a cleaning product application and a power washing. Do some perennials need to be dug up and moved? Should flower beds be increased and the soil replenished?

These are all appropriate questions and the answer most often will lead to some additions to the ‘to do' list this spring.

The benefit of course is the quality time that you will spend out in your own ‘out of doors' this summer and fall, enjoying a fresh look, possibly some additional shade and a nice place to bbq and eat!
