Gaudi masterpiece Casa Batllo will be opening its doors with Airbnb next month, giving two guests the chance to spend the night in one of the most mythical and iconic landmarks in Barcelona.

Created to tie in with Mobile World Congress, which takes place in Barcelona this year, Airbnb is turning the tourist destination into a pop-up hotel for two nights.

The winner will be chosen based on the creativity and originality of their response to the following question: How can mobile technology apply to Casa Batllo?

The applicant who comes up with the most ‘surprising’ and interesting response will be able to spend two nights at the house with a companion. Breakfast and dinner will be provided, in addition to an exclusive guided tour of the building, and transport to the congress March 3-4.

It’s the latest innovative hotel pop-up to be hosted by the short-term vacation rental site Airbnb.

For ski bunnies, a cable car suspended 2,700 meters above sea level will be transformed into a cozy hotel room next month, offering sweeping views of La Saulire, France the highest summit in Courchevel mountains.

Over the Christmas holidays, luxury department store Galeries Lafayette in Paris also made the dreams come true for fashionistas with Airbnb, installing beds amid racks of frocks from brand name designers, and under the twinkle of the store’s centerpiece tree.

Applicants have until Feb. 25 to apply for their chance to sleep in Casa Batllo and in a cable car in Courchevel.
