Chinese cuisine was the most popular ethnic cuisine overall on Google in 2014, followed by Indian and French.

That’s according to Google’s annual trends report, which paints a portrait of what the world ate over the last 12 months, and where they ate it.

For example, it appears that Japan has the largest concentration of Francophiles, as the search for French fare was more popular in Japan than in France.

Likewise, Brits searched Indian food more than India, while Argentinian food is more popular in Australia than in Argentina.

And google users searched for their favorite food, pizza, more than the largest single-sport event, the World Cup in 2014.

Here’s a breakdown of the world’s favorite cuisines, and where they were most popular in 2014:

Chinese cuisine: United Kingdom, United States, Singapore

Indian: United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Mauritius

French: Japan, Singapore, Australia
