An investigation is underway after a woman and a toddler were found dead inside a Brantford home. Brantford Police Service officers were called to the home on Obediah Crescent on Thursday around 5:15 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 32-year-old woman and her two-year-old son inside. Both were pronounced dead. “At this time, investigators have determined that there is no threat to public safety, and police are not seeking any suspects in connection with this incident,” the Brantford Police Service said in a media release. A cause of death has not yet been determined for either individual, but police say they do not believe the deaths are suspicious. The Office of the Chief Coroner has been notified as the investigation continues. Anyone with more information is urged to contact police.
