A driver was taken to a trauma centre after their vehicle was engulfed in flames just outside of Rockwood. The Ontario Provincial Police were called to the fire on Eramosa-Milton Townline and Guelph Line around 2:30 p.m. Paramedics took the driver to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the fire and Eramosa-Milton Townline was closed while investigators worked. On Monday, police said the fire was caused by a mechanical issue.
