The confirmation of a case of measles in southwestern Ontario over the weekend is the latest in a string of outbreaks across Western Canada, the Prairies and Ontario.

The latest case was confirmed shortly after the Public Health Agency of Canada issued a warning that there have been a higher-than-usual number of measles cases in Canada since the start of 2014.

Here is a map showing where measles cases have been confirmed across the country, according to the Public Health Agency. Click on each of the points to read more details.
