The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says two different brands of chocolate products sold in Canada are being recalled because they contain milk which isn’t declared on the labels.

The recalled products are:

  • Organic Traditions brand Dark Chocolate Hazelnuts and Dark Chocolate Almonds
  • Edelweiss brand Fine Dark Chocolate

The Organic Traditions chocolates were sold across Canada, while the Edelweiss bars were sold only in Ontario.

The CFIA is warning people with milk allergies not to consume the chocolates as doing so may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.

There have been no reported allergic reactions associated with the chocolates.
