Police say they're looking into dozens of complaints filed by expectant parents regarding an Ontario 3D ultrasound clinic that has allegedly given clients replica ultrasound images.

A Durham region police spokesperson told CTVNews.ca on Thursday that they're aware of allegations made against BabyView Prenatal Imaging in Pickering, Ont., but the spokesperson said she can't comment on the case unless it results in criminal charges.

At least 30 parents have come forward with what appear to be replica images from recent 3D ultrasounds that were taken at BabyView.

The replica photos came to light on Tuesday when Oshawa, Ont. mom Jenn Cusimano posted a photo of her recent 3D ultrasound alongside a picture given to another mom that was taken a month earlier. The images appear to be identical.

The expecting mother-of-two said that she's continuing to receive photos from parents who seem to have also received replica images following their sessions at BabyView Prenatal Imaging.

"It's over 30 now," Cusimano told CTVNews.ca on Thursday morning. "People are still messaging me with the same pictures, so it keeps growing."

Adeel Mir, who said he was the husband of BabyView's owner Moshina Adeelmir, told CTVNews.ca on Wednesday that he believed the replica photos were generated due to a computer glitch that may have been caused by a virus.

Mir said the clinic is offering clients who have received incorrect images a free session or a refund for what they paid for the 3D images.

The clinic has since apologized for the mix-up and said the issue has been resolved.

Cusimano said she was "speechless" after hearing BabyView’s explanation.

"There are so many people (affected), and so many different images -- there's no way I can believe that," she said.

Cusimano said she plans on taking legal action against BabyView, and she estimates at least eight parents have contacted a paralegal about the case.

"I want to try and do something so they can't operate anymore," Cusimano said.

She added that most of the parents who were allegedly given replica ultrasound images have filed reports with police.

Cusimano, meanwhile, said the whole ordeal has taken an emotional and physical toll.

"When I was on my way to the police station (on Wednesday), I felt so sick. Almost on the verge of a heart attack or passing out," she said. "Everything felt wrong."
