Celine Dion might be best known for her torch songs and soaring ballads, but on Thursday night, she showed she can twerk with the best of them.

Well, sort of.

Dion appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and took part in a “Wheel of Impressions” segment, a pseudo-sing-off in which Fallon and Dion took turns doing impressions of musical legends singing childhood songs and pop hits.

The Quebec-born Dion seemed to throw herself into the game, pretending to be nervous, fumbling with the microphone, before blowing the lid off her first impression. Dion channeled Cher while singing “Frere Jacques,” nailing Cher’s trademark tremolo.

Next, the 48-year-old transformed into Rihanna for a “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” to the tune of reggae-pop hit “Work.” The Canadian songstress got into character but seemed crestfallen when Fallon cut off her attempts to slow-twerk in her silver mini-dress.

“Whoa, whoa! Kids are watching,” Fallon told her.

For her final impression, as Sia singing “Hush Little Baby,” the powerhouse singer pulled all her hair in front of her face before belting out a lyrical mashup with Sia’s hit “Chandelier,” to the cheers of the studio audience

Dion, who lost her husband Rene Angelil to cancer in January, has a busy few weeks ahead. After receiving the Icon Award for lifetime achievement at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year, she is set to begin a 10-show run at Montreal's Bell Centre starting July 31. She will be then play in Quebec City and Trois-Rivieres.

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer is working on a new English-language album, and will return to her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace in late September.
