TORONTO -- Las Vegas rockers Imagine Dragons and New Zealand singer Lorde have been announced as performers at next month's MuchMusic Video Awards.
Imagine Dragons have had a breakout year with their hit "Radioactive" while Lorde has struck gold with her single "Royals."
Both are leading contenders heading into the upcoming Billboard Music Awards.
MuchMusic also announced that voting has opened for the MMVA categories that are voted on by fans.

The MuchMusic Video Awards -- celebrating their 25th year -- take place on Sunday, June 15.
The show airs live that day at 9 p.m. ET on Much and CTV, with a star-packed Red Carpet special beforehand at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on Much.
