Justin Bieber will make his 'Saturday Night Live' hosting debut next month.
The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer - who recently split from his on-again/off-again girlfriend of more than two years Selena Gomez - will both host and perform on the show for the first time ever on February 9.
A source close to the 18-year-old Canadian popstar confirmed he will present the show and told Billboard magazine that he is scheduled to do it next month to promote his 'Believe Acoustic' album.
News that he will emcee the comedy series, comes after he tweeted on Monday (07.01.13): "maybe im hosting and performing on SNL...maybe. (sic)"
Justin previously appeared on the late-night show as a musical guest in April 2010 and also made a cameo in the 100th Lonely Island digital short last year where joked: "I was tricked into doing this. I don't endorse this song. No, no, no, no," while chaos erupted around him.
Justin isn't the only big name star who has agreed to host the show.
Adam Levine will make his hosting debut on January 26.
While the 'Voice' judge and Maroon 5 frontman will host for the first time ever in the episode, which will feature musical guest Kendrick Lamar, he has previously appeared in a digital short on the comedy sketch show with Andy Samberg and Fred Armisen.
Adam's appearance will take place once week after 'Silver Linings Playbook' star Jennifer Lawrence makes her 'SNL' debut on January 19 with a performance from The Lumineers.
