Twentieth Century Fox has released a trailer for its upcoming adventure drama "The Mountains Between Us."
The film adaptation of Charles Martin's best-selling novel stars Idris Elba and Kate Winslet, as two strangers who - following a plane crash - must join forces to survive when they embark on a perilous journey across hundreds of miles of wilderness and face the extreme elements of a remote snow-covered mountain.
Beau Bridges and Dermot Mulroney also star in the feature, which is directed by Hany Abu-Assad from a script by Chris Weitz and J. Mills Goodloe.
"The Mountain Between Us" is set to debut in theaters on October 20.
