Cindy Crawford has announced her retirement from modelling.

The supermodel, who turns 50 this month, is giving up life in front of the camera after a career spanning more than 30 years, United Airlines Rhapsody Magazine reports.

"I'm sure I'll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore," she told the publication. "And that's OK. I've done it. I've worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can't keep reinventing myself. I shouldn't have to keep proving myself. I don't want to."

Just weeks ago Crawford was unveiled as one of the stars of the Balmain Spring/Summer 2016 campaign, alongside Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell.
