Blake Lively doesn't think having a child is a "massive change."

The 27-year-old actress and husband Ryan Reynolds welcomed their first child - believed to be a daughter named Violet - into the world last month and says being a parent comes naturally.

She said: "I always felt like a mama...

"I don't feel like it's a massive change."

While things may not have changed much, the former 'Gossip Girl' star admits she is happier than she has ever been.

She said: "This is the happiest time in my life, and I could say that every day. I often feel like, 'I can't believe I'm experiencing this.' "

While Blake wants to enjoy her time with her new baby, she is already thinking ahead to having more children.

She said: "I do want to just enjoy this moment. But I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year.

"I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter."

As well as wanting to grow her family, Blake - who married 38-year-old Ryan in 2012 - is already making plans to expand her lifestyle website Preserve and credits her parents and siblings for the inspiration behind the brand.

She said: "So much of the inspiration came from my mom and my dad and my siblings.

"All the things I feel like I'm good at are thanks to my family, and they're things we're now embracing at Preserve: cooking, decorating, artistry. Family is at the heart of everything I do."
