Justin Bieber has posted a photo of a Bible passage to social media, in the wake of two controversial videos in which the 20-year-old pop star uses the N-word and jokes about joining the Ku Klux Klan.

Earlier this week, Bieber issued a Twitter apology after a video came to light. In the clip, recorded when he was 15 years old, Bieber is seen telling a racist joke using the N-word.

Just a few days after apologizingfor that, there are reports of another years-old video in which he is also seen using the N-word and referring to the Ku Klux Klan.

In response, Bieber appears to be letting God do the talking.

A picture uploaded to his Instagram account highlights a Bible passage dealing with forgiveness and salvation.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin,” one of the verses from the book of John reads.

A second passage states: “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
