A new music video featuring two Toronto-based performers whose lyrics celebrate the city's diversity has gone viral.

The single "IV I VI" by Lilly Singh and "Humble the Poet" has been viewed more than 700,000 times since it was posted on April 16.

The song pays tribute to Toronto's cultural mix, giving shout-outs to the many groups who now call the city home.

"London in my city; Trinidad in my city; Singapore in my city; Belize in my city," sings Singh in a Toronto Transit Commission subway train that doubles as a dance floor. The video also features a number of other recognizable Toronto locations, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Raptor's homecourt at the Air Canada Centre.

The track's title is also an insider's homage to the city, with its play on the local area code 416.

Singh and Humble the Poet are also popular YouTube personalities.

Singh's "IISuperwomanII" channel has more than 5,551,500 subscribers, while Humble the Poet has nearly 80,000.
