A vehicle was pulled from a river in Jasper National Park on Thursday. A passerby’s video shows a partially submerged vehicle and crews working along Highway 93, also known as the Icefields Parkway, about 10 kilometres south of the Columbia Icefield Skywalk. An Alberta RCMP spokesperson confirmed Mounties helped Jasper Fire Department and park wardens respond to the situation. Corp. Troy Savinkoff said the wardens “laid the appropriate charges” but had no other details, as the park was leading the investigation. CTV News Edmonton reached out to Jasper National Park for more information.
