Edmonton police are searching for three individuals who robbed a Capilano liquor store earlier this year. Police say two men and a woman entered a liquor store in the area of 50 Street and 101 Avenue on Feb. 23 shortly after 10 p.m. One of the men smashed out the glass of a large cabinet and took a large quantity of alcohol, said a statement from Edmonton police. They put the alcohol in a portable wagon and left the business, heading towards 98 Avenue. Police are seeking assistance identifying the suspects. Police described the first man as tall, white or Indigenous, with a slim build. He was wearing a grey ball cap, black bandana and winter coat with the hood pulled up, blue jeans, black (DC) sneakers, a black leather backpack and winter gloves. The second man was wearing a black with grey fur-lined trapper hat, a white N95 mask, a black jacket with a black hoodie underneath, blue jeans, black shoes and winter gloves. Police described him as an Indigenous man of average height and weight. He was also pulling a collapsible wagon. The woman was wearing a long, light grey puffer jacket with a fur-lined hood, black pants, light grey UGG boots, and fingerless gloves. Her face was covered by a scarf and a blue mask. Police characterized her as Indigenous and being below-average height and average weight.
