TERRACE, B.C. - One of three people killed in a helicopter crash in northwestern B.C. has been identified.

Bailey Helicopters says 45-year-old Peter Bryant was one of the pilots killed during a training-flight crash near Terrace, B.C., yesterday.

Bryant was aboard the A-Star 350 helicopter when it went down on Sleeping Beauty Mountain with three people on board.

The company says Bryant was a resident of Terrace and was an employee for 11 years.

Bill Yearwood of the Transportation Safety Board says avalanche conditions have made it unsafe for two officials who are now in the area.

Bailey Helicopters says it will release the names of the other two employees killed in the crash when next of kin have been notified.
