An anchor with CTV News Channel since 1999, Jennifer Ward has interviewed a huge range of people from CEOs to professional athletes to public figures.
Prior to anchoring at CTV News Channel, Ward was the co-host of Fox Television's morning program GOOD DAY PHILADELPHIA, from 1996-1999. During her tenure at Good Day Philadelphia, she won two Emmy Awards as the reporter/host for her stories on school violence and medical news.
Before landing the morning show at Fox, Ward was an anchor and reporter for KYW-TV (NBC) in Philadelphia for five years where she became the first woman to solo-anchor the nightly news at 11 p.m. for the local NBC affiliate.
Ward honed her broadcasting skills at CFTO from 1988 to1991 where she pulled double-duty as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter. Her first job in broadcasting was at CHCH TV in Hamilton where she began her career after completing her degree at York University.
Outside of work, Ward enjoys cooking, painting, gardening and spending time with her dog, Bowman. She was recently (January 2010) diagnosed with breast cancer, a battle she is winning.
