HALIFAX -- The RCMP are investigating a second complaint of a pin found inside a candy bar in the Halifax area.
Police were called to Astral Drive Junior High in Cole Harbour on Monday after a student found a sewing pin inside of a small candy bar when she took a bite.
The student was not injured.
The Mounties say the student was given the candy bar while trick-or-treating in the Astral Drive and Colby South area on Halloween.
Officers say it's the same area where another family had gone trick-or-treating and found a one-inch pin lodged inside a small chocolate bar.
Police are reminding families to check their Halloween treats for signs of tampering.
