Hundreds of mourners attended a funeral service Friday for a Saskatchewan mother and her three young children, who were killed in a murder-suicide.

The bodies of Latasha Gosling, 27, and her children -- Jenika, 8, Landen, 7, and Janayah, 4 -- were found in their mobile home in Tisdale, Sask., last week.

RCMP have said that their killer took a six-month-old baby from the home and drove to Prince Albert, where he killed himself. The baby was unharmed and is now in the care of family members.

During the funeral service Friday, friends remembered Gosling as a loving woman.

“Anyone that knew her knew she was going to be the greatest mother,” said Jenna Salisbury, who delivered the eulogy.

Salisbury said Gosling spent “countless” hours playing with her kids and taking them to soccer games.

The funeral service was held at Nipawin Alliance Church, where four white caskets were adorned with flowers and photos of each victim.
