Sacks of letters from girls and boys are already arriving at the North Pole.

“Across the country about 200,000 already,” Santa’s Chief Postal Elf, “Holly T. Elf” told CTV’s Canada AM on Thursday.

Santa will reply to each and every letter, typed or handwritten in 30 languages, including braille.

Santa’s elves have 3 golden rules when sending a letter to Santa:

1. Make sure to include your full return address.

2. While wish lists are good, Santa really loves to read about a child's favourite activities including pictures and drawings.

3. Send your letter soon. Letters must be mailed by Dec. 16 to receive a reply (it's a long way to the North Pole and back!).

Santa's address:
SANTA CLAUS
NORTH POLE H0H 0H0
CANADA

Despite some confusion in recent years, no postage stamp is required for letters to Santa.
