HAPPY VALLEY GOOSE BAY -- An RCMP officer is expected to appear in a Labrador court today after being arrested for allegedly luring a child over the Internet.
The male officer from the Labrador district was arrested on Friday and made his first appearance in court Saturday morning.
A publication ban has prohibited the use of his name.
He was remanded for a bail hearing until today in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is taking the lead in the investigation.
