HODGSON, Man. - RCMP in Manitoba's Interlake region are investigating the death of a 21-month-old girl.
The Peguis Mounties say they were contacted by the hospital in Hodgson last Thursday about a toddler who had been brought in by ambulance.
She was in medical distress and died of her injuries a few hours later.
The Peguis RCMP and RCMP Major Crime Services are investigating the death as a homicide.
No arrests have been made and the child's name will not be released.
Police say no further details are available.
