ST. JOHN'S, N.L. -- The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says five teenagers face charges after a violent assault on a 24-year-old man with a disability.
Police say the attack occurred Friday in Mount Pearl.
Police allege the youths conspired to lure the victim into a wooded area near the Sobey's Square theatre where the man had gone to see a movie.
Police say he was then assaulted and robbed.
The victim was later treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the five youths, including two boys and three girls, range in age from 14 to 17.
