Pilot treated, released following helicopter crash

WABUSH, N.L. -- A 44-year-old man was treated and released from hospital following the crash of a helicopter in western Labrador.
Sunday's crash occurred in the area of Elephant Head near Wabush.
Police say the man was the pilot of the helicopter.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and firefighters from Labrador City responded to the scene.
Police have not released the name of the helicopter company involved in the crash.
