OTTAWA -- An Ottawa farmer is dead after police say his tractor rolled into a manure pond.
Police are investigating the incident that happened at about 10 p.m. Thursday on the man's farm (on Second Line Road South.)
The 39-year-old man was working on the farm when his tractor overturned and went into the pond.
He was extricated and transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Ministry of Labour has been notified and an investigator is assigned to look into the case.
The identity of the man is not being released at this time.
