EDMONTON -- An Edmonton man has been charged in what police are calling a road rage incident.
Police say two vehicles almost collided in a downtown intersection on Thursday morning.
Words were exchanged between the drivers, then both got out and started physically fighting.
One of the men allegedly got a baseball bat from his vehicle and hit the other man with it.
A passing sheriff saw what was happening and took one of the men into custody.
Alaa Al-Thehaiby, 27, is charged with assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
Police said a 56-year-old man who was hit with the bat had minor injuries.
