HALIFAX -- Police investigating the death of a missing Halifax woman say they have located human remains.

But police said Wednesday they have not determined whether the remains are those of Catherine (Catie) Miller.

The 29-year-old mother of one disappeared in July.

Police said they are not releasing the location where the remains were found at this time.

Earlier, they said two people were arrested as part of their investigation.

A man and a woman, both 30, were taken into custody but charges have not been laid.

Police have already charged 29-year-old Jason James Johnson with first-degree murder and indecently interfering with a dead human body.

The latest arrests took place in Lawrencetown and Port Dufferin and searches for potential evidence are underway in those communities, as well as a location in Goffs.
