CALGARY -- The father of twin brothers who died in an after-hours accident sliding down a luge-bobsled track calls it a dreadful idea that took shape when his sons were out with a youth group.

Jordan and Evan Caldwell, who were 17, were killed Feb. 5 at Canadian Olympic Park in Calgary.

They and six other teenage boys used a personal sled to go down the track and hit a large gate used to separate the luge and bobsled tracks.

The other six teens were injured.

Jason Caldwell told a prayer breakfast he woke up early the next morning to find a text from a friend asking if Caldwell knew where his boys were.

Caldwell said everything changed in the blink of an eye and it is his faith that has kept him and his family going.
