With his back straightened and his knuckles firmly planted on the ground, an Edmonton man made his bid for Guinness World Record fame.
Alan Waselenchuk clocked 91 knuckle push-ups in a minute in his attempt to break the world record, which is currently held by an American man who performed 79 push-ups in 60 seconds.
The sixty-five-year-old Albertan now has to wait eight weeks before he finds out if Guinness will verify his attempt.
But, no matter the results, Waselenchuk says he's happy with his efforts and that he hopes he's inspired other seniors.
