3. Mideast conflict: In its seventh day of airstrikes on targets in Gaza, the Israeli military says it has shot down an unmanned drone aircraft for the first time since the campaign began. 4. Demolishing history: A government building in Ottawa was reduced to rubble in mere seconds over the weekend, brought down by 400 kilograms of dynamite during a controlled demolition.
