Canadian dollar closes at 89.56 cents U.S.

TORONTO - The Canadian dollar ended the day at 89.56 cents US, up 0.10 of a cent from Wednesday.

The U.S. dollar closed at 111.66 cents Cdn, down 0.12 of a cent.

Pound sterling was at C$1.8402, down 0.96 of a cent and US$1.6480, up 0.31 of a cent.

The Euro closed at C$1.5132 down 1.32 cents.
