MONTREAL -- Bell Canada (TSX:BCE) says its mobile customers travelling in the United States will be able to pay lower fees for their U.S. roaming packages starting Tuesday.
The Montreal-based company, which is one of Canada's three largest providers of mobile communications services, said it's making the change in response to consumer feedback over the summer.
Bell said Monday its 30-day U.S. travel bundle, which formerly cost $50, will be reduced to $25, for a specified amount of call minutes, texting, Internet usage and other data.
Its add-on package for heavy users will be priced at $20, down from $40.
