TORONTO - The Canadian Music Hall of Fame has corralled Blue Rodeo.
The Toronto roots-rock veterans have been named the next inductees into the Canadian hall.
The five-piece group will be honoured at the 2012 Juno Awards, to be held on April 1 at Ottawa's Scotiabank Place.
Led by songwriters Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, Blue Rodeo released its debut album "Outskirts" in 1987, featuring the breakout hit single "Try."
The group would go on to release a series of platinum-selling hit records, including 1993's "Five Days in July" and most recently, 2009's double album "The Things We Left Behind."
Past inductees into the Canadian music hall, meanwhile, include Shania Twain, Gordon Lightfoot and Leonard Cohen
