A bus driver was hospitalized after a scary incident in Innisfil on Wednesday. According to the South Simcoe Police Service (SSPS), the driver experienced a ‘medical incident’ while operating a Barrie Transit vehicle. A spokesperson from the SSPS told CTV News that they were taken safely to a local hospital for treatment that the service has no update on. As it was a medical call and not a police investigation, police confirmed no charges or traffic violations were issued, and there were no reports of other injuries or property damage.
