German automobile manufacturer RUF has partnered with Vancouver- and Calgary-based high-end car sales specialists Weissach Performance to bring their premium sports cars to Canada.

RUF, which specializes in modifying and tuning Porsche 911 sports cars to near-supercar levels of performance, will, via Weissach, offer RUF parts, accessories and full vehicle conversions.

Pending the cars’ Canadian homologation, it will also offer its entire product range here, which includes the 930-based SCR 4.2 and Ultimate; the Boxster-based 3800S; and the 991-based RTR, RGT 4.2 and Turbo Florio.

The brand’s flagship is the CTR3 Clubsport, which uses its 777-horsepower 3.8-litre flat-six turbo to nail 380 km/h (236 mph).

Vancouver-based Weissach has been a retailer of high end cars for more than 35 years and authorized dealer for Lamborghini, Lotus, Koenigsegg and Bugatti in Western Canada. Their specialty, however, like RUF’s, is Porsche automobiles.
