Ferrari has unveiled its latest one-off creation, the 458 MM Speciale, a custom-bodied 458 Speciale commissioned by one of the brand’s British customers.
The car uses the running gear, chassis and drivetrain of the 458 Speciale, but with custom aluminum bodywork highlighted by a new side air scoop and a “visor”-type glasshouse.
The Italian automaker says that window opening shape and style is supposed to evoke one of the car’s distant predecessors, the 1984 Ferrari GTO, though it arguably draws better comparisons to a modern Lotus Evora and is beautiful at all angles.
The carbon-fibre composite front and rear bumpers are also marked aerodynamic revisions of the stock car’s; some might say the dark-colour front bumper accents are starkly reminiscent of those on the new Ford GT.
The car also wears unique taillights and a beautiful Bianco Italia paint job with a tricolore stripe down the middle; the interior is finished in Cioccolato leather with white stitching.
