The Nova Scotia RCMP is investigating a fatal structure fire in Lunenburg County. Police and other emergency crews responded to the fire on Balsam Drive in Chester Grant around 6:25 a.m. Tuesday. Police say first responders found a camper-trailer engulfed in flames when they arrived on scene. Crews found the remains of an adult after the fire was extinguished. “At this time, based on information and evidence gathered, criminality is not believed to be a factor,” said the RCMP in a news release. Police have not released any details about the victim. The incident is under investigation, with assistance from the Nova Scotia Office of the Fire Marshal and Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.
