EDMONTON - Alberta Justice says it will quash convictions for anyone caught on camera in the last 15 months speeding through Edmonton intersections.
Justice Minister Alison Redford says anyone who was ticketed and paid the fine will receive a refund.
Questions have arisen over the accuracy of the cameras used to catch drivers who speed up at green lights to get through intersections.
The Crown is also withdrawing all tickets on which fines are still outstanding.
Edmonton police announced earlier this month that they wouldn't hand out any more "speed-on-green" tickets until further notice.
Since November 2003, drivers have paid fines on almost 103,000 tickets.
